As you all know, former Vice President Al Gore has become the face of the Environmental Movement. Through his books, his Oscar wining movie, “An Inconvenient Truth,” his Nobel Peace Prize, and his speeches, he had been placed front and center as both leader and darling of the Global Environmentals.
Not to be forgotten is the fact that Mr. Gore has become a multi-millionaire, due to “Global Warming.” He has perfected a good scam in order to personally profit.
Currently, the world’s eyes are on Copenhagen where the nations of the world and their leaders are gathering to discuss climate change (talk about a lot of hot air). In Copenhagen on Dec. 14th, Gore gave a speech and made a startling statement. According to Gore, “The latest research showed that the Artic could be completely ice- free in five years.” In his speech, Gore told the Conference; “These figures are fresh. Some of the models suggest to Dr. Wieslar Maslowski that there is a 75% chance that the entire North polar ice cap could be completely ice free within the summer months, within five to seven years.”
The only problem was that Dr. Maslowski who was in Copenhagen completely refuted it and denied ever making such a statement when asked about Gore’s timetable.
“It’s unclear to me how this figure was arrived at,” Dr. Maslowski said, “I would never try to estimate likelihood at anything as exact as this.” (Source London Times, Dec. 15, 2009)
My personal opinion of Climate change and Al Gore is one and the same. I believe they are both frauds and if their plans ever become law then our nation will be bankrupt and destitute in a short time. The real desire for those like Gore who are advocating climate change can be summed up in one word; “Globalization.” Global taxes, global currency, global economic rules, etc.
I for one don’t want America to lose her standing, and our freedoms to appease the rest of the world. Al Gore and Global Warming is a fraud plain and simple. We should do everything in our power to oppose our government signing away the rights and freedoms that have been given to us by those who paid with their toil, sweat, and blood to make America a great nation.
Personally I believe Al Gore would do the world a great service if he moved to the Artic and lived in an igloo, on second thought with all of his hot air, the polar ice cap may melt!
